The new wraps were supposed to be released in 2018, but were rumoured to be delayed due to the much publicised supply chain problems KFC encountered in February/March of that year.
Twister Wraps are available now though and we are unsure if they are promotional or permanent items on the menu.
The TV advert is also running on national television. As of writing, this has not been uploaded to the KFC UK & Ireland YouTube account.
KFC Colonel’s Club Members can get any of the wraps for £1.99 up until 31st May (offer is available during the relevant participating store’s trading hours until 17:00.)
Their normal price is £4.49 and include a regular drink:

Are these big wraps or small like the snack bbq/flamin wrap?
Incredibly disappointed with the new Twisters. The original version was pretty much as good as you could get and the later tweek of toasting it did make it better. Everything was just right, the perfect amount of chicken, lettuce, chopped tomatoes and peppery mayo all working in harmony. A dependable established product that required no further modification.
The new version in comparison is dull whichever variant you choose. The slaw does nothing, I couldn’t even detect it was there in the Nashville Hot version. The Zinger Kentucky Mayo version did have plenty of crunch from the slaw but it was tasteless, the chopped Zinger fillet was really the only thing going for it. The outlets I bought from seem to be adding more sauce to compensate for lack of taste but it doesn’t make the experience any better. I wish they had been a bit more adventurous in this redesign and added cheese and/or bacon for a bit more interest or made a Twister sized version of the Flamin Wrap.
I really hope these Twister Wraps are a LTO and the old version returns. I certainly won’t be buying any more unless the original returns. I also hope they don’t get any other bright ideas to mess with other established products like the Zinger Tower Burger.
Just had one of the mayo twister wraps. The slaw overpowered the wrap, too much of a vinegar flavour and too wet so it makes the wrap soggy, next time I’ll customise to remove the slaw, I miss the lettuce and tomato mix which tasted much better in my opinion!
Just had one of these just now. if you haven’t had one then save your money. They’re not that nice. they need cheese and lettuce instead of slaw
I like the slaw.
I think lettuce and tomato would be a bit boring and obvious and would have just turned it into a McDonald’s wrap. Cheese would be a nice option but I don’t think it strictly needs it. For £1.99 (through the app) I think this is an absolute bargain – nicely filling with just the right amount of spice, crunch and flavour.
The new wraps are really disappointing. The wraps were the only reason I ever went to KFC. Don’t feel like it’s nearly as good value as before, when you could upgrade to chips and a drink for £1. I’ve also been to two branches now and they’ve told me that the wraps do not include a drink and after lots of discussion have made me buy a drink separately too which is really annoying.
i hate the slaw its disgosting bring back the original ones !!
Really dissatisfied. Ordered 2 twister meals charged £10. 70 instead of £8.98. When queried asdvised the chips not included but it’s there policy to add in with order and charge. Raised a complaint with KFC only to be told that it’s clearly advertised. Also that coffe is also not included in meal only soft drinks. The wrap was not good either. bye bye KFC
Im eating 1 right now, i only liked the original fillet wrap as it had lettuce, tomato & i always had cheese!!
Asked the girl for the mayo wrap with cheese & no, u cant have cheese!!! Surely it cant be that difficult to add cheese?????
I had one a few weeks ago. I didn’t even know they’d changed. Tried getting a wrap, and girl at the counter said “which one do you want?” and I say “toasted twister wrap” … she then reels off a list of options, and I have no idea what the heck is going on. I hear the word ‘original’ so I say I’ll have that. What I got was absolutely disgusting. I couldn’t finish it. Drenched in coleslaw juice. Flavourless, underfilled. Never having one again.
I’d get a burger, but the bread is always so dry. The only good boned chicken these days are the drumsticks. The boneless strips are fine I suppose, but I don’t really find them filling.
KFC has gone down the pan. Used to be my favourite too.
Had three now, used the app to grab a twister and fries for £2.49, the first was pretty good, stuffed with filling, the next two, nediocre, but a good value lunch nonetheless…
When they stop the offer, I will go back to having a Big Daddy Box…with the a guest survey ticket, less than £6…
