Established in October 2012, BURGER LAD® receives approximately 700,000 monthly page views from 300,000+ unique users – 91% UK based.
In November 2018, we hit half a million page views for the first time and in January 2019 smashed this with 606,130 views.
February 2020 saw us record our current record of 958,000 monthly page views!!

Burger Lad®
Creator and owner, Burger Lad® is the lead reviewer of McDonald’s promotional burgers.
He is committed to exclusively revealing the next LTO and bringing you insight and context to each burger review.
He is also dedicated to reviewing non-mainstream burger joints to share his burger adventures with the rest of the world.
Burger Lad® is a McDonald’s My Burger Finalist and former monthly contributor for QuickBite Magazine – (at the time) the UK’s largest magazine for the food-to-go and QSR industry.
He was also a judge on the technical panel at the National Burger Awards in 2017 (and again in 2020) which was held at the Islington Metal Works in London.
Recently he has worked with Lantmänenn Unibake’s Americana brand in a number of burger research projects and was appointed to their Team of Burger Experts in 2019.
Captain QP
Captain QP joined the team in late 2020 and is named after his previous unhealthy obsession with the Quarter Pounder at McDonald’s.
Famed for his big… orders, he is the co-host of the BURGER LAD® Podcast and has a great pedigree in fast food knowledge.

Onion Boy
He was there at the inception of the BURGER LAD® website and now he has made his triumphant return to the team featuring on the award-winning podcast.
Known for his ability to always photograph in landscape, not portrait, Onion Boy was a founder member of the website and was responsible for the iconic BL theme music and editing of the early YouTube videos.
In 2022, he is back… offering his expert insight into all things burger-related and is still the BEST pun man in the game.
Admiral Burgerbar
Principal Burger Critic for BURGER LAD®.
Often found travelling First Class between Manchester and London, the Admiral is a highly respected gourmet burger analyst.
Since setting sail on his ship, AB has reviewed a plethora of patties in his quest to find THE best burger.
Known for his remarkable USA burger tour and being our street food correspondent, the Admiral will always promise you one thing: Bacon makes everything better!
