McDonald’s UK have reduced their prices for the scheme and above is the full list of updated prices.
The highly popular and much loved restaurant chain has reopened with a reduced menu and will be participating in the Eat Out to Help Out discount scheme.
This has been introduced by the Government to encourage people to dine out during August in a bid to kick-start the UK economy.
We at BURGER LAD® believe that this is a great idea as it enables patrons of participating restaurants to get a 50 percent discount.
The scheme is running from Monday 3rd August until Monday 31st August and will cover up to a maximum of £10 per diner.
What is the catch?
Well, customers can only take advantage of this discount every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday but can use it as much as they like.
Also, the deal will not be available for takeaway, drive-thru or McDelivery.
Other chains participating in the discount scheme include Burger King, Côte Brasserie, Five Guys, Frankie & Benny’s, German Doner Kebab, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Honest Burgers, KFC, Nando’s and Pizza Express to name a few.
In a bid to get ready for offering half-price food from Monday, McDonald’s has reopened another 137 branches for dine-in customers this week.
Since re-opening after the Coronavirus pandemic, understandably they have not had any promotional burgers.
However, we are led to believe that the first one will see the return of the DOUBLE QUARTER POUNDER – our review here. As of writing, we have no word on a release date. Yet…
Will you be pleased to see the Double QP return? And why isn’t it called a Half Pounder?
And will 2021 see the release of Worldwide Favourites which got cancelled as well as Monopoly due to COVID-19?
P.S. I’ve not had a McDonald’s since March.
