Burger King Roadhouse Crispy Chicken
Roadhouse Crispy Chicken:
Burger King UK have got a new chicken sandwich/burger out – the Roadhouse Crispy Chicken.
It has been approximately one year since they introduced the Crispy Chicken to their menu and it seems this is the promotional chicken patty of choice for UK LTOs.
The latest addition to the BK menu is described as:
The Roadhouse Crispy Chicken is our new BBQ Chicken burger, with savoury bacon, fresh lettuce, crispy onions, creamy white cheese and our signature BBQ sauce, giving a deep smoky flavour to the crispy chicken patty, all served in a soft brioche bun.
This new sandwich/burger clocks in at 606 calories according to the Burger King website (a flash new Nutrition PDF I’ll have you know!)
BK are promoting their Steak House Angus alongside the latest variation of the Crispy Chicken, although this is not a new menu item.
Also available for a limited time are new Mac ‘n’ Cheese Bites.
These are available in portions of four and six – weighing in at 240 and 360 kcal respectively.
BK tell us that:
Our Mac ‘N’ Cheese bites have a creamy and cheesy core filled with cheddar cheese and pasta and a golden crunchy coating – the ultimate side piece!
There’s no indication of what (if any) dipping sauce is alongside the Mac ‘N’ Cheese Bites.
Will you be trying either of these latest promotional items or both?
What do you think of Burger King’s Crispy Chicken as the promotional chicken patty?
Is it better than two Chicken Selects? And do you miss the TenderCrisp?
