BREAKING: McDonald’s USA launching new chicken sausage patty for All Day Breakfast

From Monday 18th January 2016, US-based McDonald’s customers will be able to add a new chicken sausage patty to any sandwich choice or platter.

Promotional material posted on the McDonald’s Subreddit shows an Egg & Chicken Sausage McMuffin.

The official description: “McDonald’s is making ordinary mornings a bit extraordinary by providing a delicious, fast and accurate breakfast sandwich with a new leaner sausage patty. We want to put the good back in good morning and consumers can rely on a quality breakfast sandwich to start their day off; there’s no better way than with our new Chicken Sausage Pattie on any sandwich or platter.”

It’s not the first time people can order a Chicken McMuffin as there is one on the menu in South Africa (as well as various other countries).

No word yet on prices and/or nutritional information.

Point of purchase material arrived in-stores 14th January with soft-sell starting from then. There doesn’t appear to be many sightings online as yet…
