McDonald’s Tokyo Night Burger

McDonald's Tokyo Night Burger

McDonald’s Hong Kong Tokyo Night Burger

McDonald’s Hong Kong have released the Tokyo Night burger.

The build is part of the Signature Collection and has been developed by Chef Stanley Wong.

Stanley Wong has been an Executive Chef at various restaurants around the world and has recently opened three high-end restaurants in The Venetian Hotel in Macau.

He has also appeared in numerous US TV shows such as the Martha Stewart Show and various cooking programmes on CBS and The Discovery Channel.

The Tokyo Night burger is the latest of McDonald’s burgers that have been developed in collaboration with high profile chefs.

It features a Black Bun with Sesame made from Squid Ink with Buttermilk Crispy Chicken, Fried Egg, Cheddar Cheese
and Shredded White and Red Cabbage.

The official description reads: The tender and juicy buttermilk crispy chicken, mixed with some nice traditional tonkatsu sauce, fried egg and cabbage. Together with the stunning black bun, all combined to form a rich Tokyo taste with a wonderfully unique look, texture and taste.

The black bun and Tokyo Night combo are also available as part of the customisable ‘My Signature’ platform available at McDonald’s Hong Kong.

What do you think of the new Tokyo Night burger? Would you like to see a black bun LTO at McDonald’s UK or has that trend passed?

Is there a chance we will ever see egg as a topping on the menu after the 10:30am breakfast cut-off?
