McDonald’s Seriously Festive Menu

McDonald’s Canada are promoting their Seriously Chicken range for their festive menu for 2018.

The hero of the promotion is the limited time Asiago & Bacon Seriously Chicken.

This is described as:

Made with 100% seasoned chicken breast, asiago cheese, bacon, leaf lettuce and tomato, with Swiss cheese sauce and rotisserie seasoned sauce, all on a Brioche-style bun. Get it grilled or crispy.

Running alongside the Asiago & Bacon are the (previously released) Tomato & Mozzarella Seriously Chicken and BLT Seriously Chicken.

All three chicken sandwiches/burgers are available with crispy or grilled chicken options.

The Asiago & Bacon with Grilled Chicken clocks in at 590 kcal where the Crispy Chicken version is slightly higher at 730 kcal.

Also on the menu are Herb & Garlic Seasoned Fries.

The official description is:

McDonald’s World Famous Fries, cooked to a golden perfection and then sprinkled with a festive-inspired blend of parsley, oregano, thyme, garlic and sage.

Nutritionally, these are 420 kcal per 121g serving.

The Herb & Garlic Seasoned Fries are very similar to the previously released (in the US) Gilroy Garlic Fries.

Is that a chicken burger from McDonalds that manages to somehow fit in and fill the bun? Unbelievable, what will they think of next.

Tried the ‘grilled’ version tonight (and I use the term grilled very loosely) and it was the most disgusting thing I’ve eaten in a long time. The chicken was fried, not grilled and the cheese wasn’t at all melted.
