Who said coloured buns were so 2015?

Released in mid-June, McDonald’s Rainbow Burgers come in two different versions and have pink and yellow buns.

The colouring comes from the use of spice extracts.

Rainbow Burger Beef is described as:

Juicy beef burger with BBQ sauce, cheese and crispy onion in fluffy pink bread with sesame, containing extract of beetroot and paprika.

McDonald’s have released these colourful creations to celebrate Colour Day Festival 2019 – an event McDonald’s Greece is a grand sponsor of.

Coloured buns seem to be making a bit of a comeback recently, with McDonald’s Czech Republic offering customers black and white buns as part of their Asian menu.
