McDonald’s Pizza Mac – Germany
McDonald’s Germany have added a new burger to its Basics Menu – the Pizza Mac.
The Basics Menu in Germany is similar to the Saver Menu in the UK with products available from 1€.
The Pizza Mac is joined alongside the new McDouble Western – this looks a much improved burger to the Western Beef we reviewed back in 2013.
This latest offering from McDonald’s Germany features a Pizza Bun, Hamburger Patty, Emmental Cheese, Onions and Pizza Sauce.
Nutritionally the burger clocks in at 408 kcal so is fairly respectable for the calorie counter.
The official (translated) description as follows:
Ciao, Bello! Our favourite Italian, the Pizza Mac, is the funky burger who shows at first glance how much flavour he has. Crispy outside with delicious mozzarella spread, inside with double beef, delicately melting cheese, onions and spicy tomato sauce. Not only does it look damn good, it tastes great too!
The Basics Menu also features the McDouble Chili Cheese (pictured below) – ingredients on this build include spicy chili-cheese sauce and jalapeños.
This isn’t the first ‘pizza burger’ to be available on the menu at a McDonald’s restaurant.
