The latest cheese side at McDonald’s are the Monterey Jack Cheese Melts.

They are pretty small but for a portion of five offer considerate value. They come served in a small brown paper bag, perfect for slipping that cheeky lunch time gin bottle into after.

The coating is definitely the best thing about them – think Southern Fried Chicken coating and you are on the right track. Very distinct.

The cheese is good enough, but to be honest, the creamy whiteness inside is similar to other preceding McDonald’s cheese sides (except the Spicy Nacho Cheese Wedges).

And I’m always a big fan of the Rich Tomato Dip and once again delivers – 100% my favourite McD’s dipping sauce.

Unfortunately due to a technical issue, we lost the rest of the content from this post when our site went down in May 2018 and this is based on the notes I had on my iPhone.

We apologise for this and will do our very best to ensure this does not happen again. Luckily, we managed to rescue 99% of all our content but just a few posts were lost forever.
