McDonald’s France American Winter

McDonald’s France launches American Winter Promotion

Available from today (Tuesday 26th January) is the new promotion at McDonald’s France called American Winter.

McDonald’s France American Winter…

From the pictures we have obtained the burgers are similar to the Extra Long BK burgers on a long baguette style roll.

The first is called Champignons & Cheddar Fondu which obviously features mushrooms, cheese, lettuce and what appears to be crispy onions.

The other burger is called the Bacon & Cheddar Fondu. Running alongside these two burgers are a potato side dish similar to criss-cut fries.

Cheese influenced promo…

Also in the American Winter limited time offer is the Burger Fromage Pane which is basically a crispy cheese patty on a salad-topped baguette style roll and the McWrap Fromage Pane – the same but within a wrap.

So a heavily cheese-influenced LTO from McDonald’s France.

Not quite sure what the American Winter connection is there. What do you think?

Could we ever get mushrooms on a McDonald’s burger in the UK?

I am in Guadeloupe for the winter. If I miss the snow all I have to do is look up every kilometer to see the McDonald's American winter signs very strange I don't know why they need the American winter in the Caribbean

Was in Calais last week and happened upon the Fromage Pane version of this. The idea seems terrible on the surface but it was actually amazingly tasty and light as an alternative to beef. The French even seem to have a slightly more "gourmande" attitude to fast food and I can't see this making across to the UK, but I would enjoy it if it did. The flavours worked well together and the bun was very light and fresh. I thought it was better than many UK Mcdonalds menu items which tend to be quite heavy and plastic tasting in comparison.
