KFC Collect
KFC are trialling a new click and collect ordering system on their KFC app called KFC Collect.
Their IOS app has just received an update which says that this is “an exciting new limited trial offering you a streamlined way of ordering from us.”
McDonald’s have been offering the service at the majority of their UK restaurants now which began as Click and Collect back in early-to-mid 2018. This has since been re-branded as MyMcDonald’s.
Burger King do not currently offer this service.
Mobile ordering at KFC is available in some other countries around the world including Malaysia and is now available in limited restaurants in the UK.
As of writing, we have tried a number of major cities in the KFC app and all say “App Collection Currently Unavailable.”
If you try KFC Collect and it says that it is available at your local KFC, let us know and we will start creating a list of all known locations.
This update has happened to the KFC app in the last 24 hours (IOS on the App Store – we are assuming Android has received the same upgrade).
We are also expecting an official press release shortly but it may be a case that because this is a trial there will be no additional information at this time.
