KFC Chizza UK release soon?
BREAKING:
Prepare to get excited… a source got in touch to tell us that Chizza is coming to KFC UK!
Shortly after we published our Dirty Louisiana Burger review, we received an anonymous tip-off saying that it could be launched as early as May!
Take this news as you will, but in our experience in the fast food lane, when people come forward like this, it usually results in the leaked information coming true. Time will tell…
Chizza was all over the news recently when Singapore was the latest country to add it to its menu for a limited time.
The pizza/fried chicken hybrid, which uses a flattened piece of KFC chicken to replace the traditional dough pizza base and then topped with sauce and pepperoni, pineapple and green peppers, was originally launched in The Far East back in July 2015.
Chizza has since been seen on menus in countries such as Japan, Taiwan, South Korea and The Philippines and as of writing it is on the menu at KFC France.
We included Chizza on our 2016 KFC Wish List so it seems that our prays could be answered if the email we received late last night turns out to be true… or maybe someone is pranking us?
Either way, we felt the need to report this exciting development to you…

As you can see, the above tweet garnered some massive interest, so perhaps KFC want to capitalise on the social media explosion caused by Chizza by bringing it out here?
We reached out to our friends at KFC and they gave us this intriguing response:

One thing is for certain, it’s going to be interesting to see if Chizza does get launched in the UK!

Since posting this, someone else has come forward suggesting that the release date will actually be September. More as it comes in!
