The Bacon King is coming to the UK!

Previously on-sale in the USA, the Bacon King will be available very soon at all participating UK restaurants.

The newest addition to the BK menu (pictured below from the BK Germany website) features bacon, bacon and more bacon!

Available from Wednesday 14th March, the Bacon King has two flame-grilled beef patties, four slices of melted American Cheese, ketchup and mayonnaise and EIGHT slices of bacon.

Priced at £5.89 for the burger only, or £7.69 for a meal, the burger alone clocks in at a whopping 1,150 calories – that’s more than half of a woman’s recommended daily intake of 2,000 kcal!

Running alongside this will be the Chicken Bacon King (690 calories).

And in true tabloid journalism fashion – you’ll have to be quick, as they are only around for a limited time.

The launch of this new LTO will see the end of the Potato Rosti promo.

Burger King teased us with this on Twitter yesterday:

What do you think of the latest BK offering arriving in the UK? Will you be trying it?

Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below or via the usual BURGER LAD® channels.

1,150 calories???! Jeez! Although if I try it it’ll be without the ketchup and mayo, so you can probably knock a few 100 calories right there!

I wish they’d gone with baconnaise instead. The promos should be an opportunity to introduce something new and unique, and with this they’ve basically added extra bacon and condiments you’re already given for free (whether you want them or not – my ketchup sachets get binned immediately) to a burger that’s already on the menu.
